Hugh Jackman, Matthew McConaughey, and Kristen Wiig are just a few examples of Hollywood celebrities that are known for being fantastic in person. Having said that, it’s unlikely that every actor or actress will be the same. In person, some of them aren’t that lovely. Despite their on-screen personalities being so dissimilar, they’ve earned a reputation for being some of the rudest individuals you’ll ever meet.
You read it correctly: you should never meet your idol in person. In certain cases, we’d have to agree. We’ve compiled a list of ten people that are adored yet are jerks behind the camera. If you come across these folks, it’s always better to keep going rather than approaching them for an autograph. You never know what’s going to happen! Some will ignore you, while others will berate you with foul language.
Are there any celebrities you thought were exceptionally kind but turned out to be extremely rude? Please let us know!
1 William Shatner

William Shatner’s Comedy Central Roast was great because it allowed celebs to release years of pent-up rage. Most of his co-stars despised him on the set of Star Trek because he was such a jerk. Because he did not attend Leonard Nimoy’s funeral, he got the moniker “Captain Jerk.”
When he attends events, he has a strong attitude that fans and co-stars must deal with. He yelled at Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar from Star Trek) as she attempted to answer a question. It’s impossible to admire the guy after seeing how he treats his co-stars.
2 Paltrow Gwyneth

Gwyneth Paltrow gave up on the idea of being perceived as a normal person. Paltrow has labeled herself as a lifestyle expert after cutting “coffee, alcohol, dairy, eggs, sugar, maize, shellfish, fish, wheat, pork, and soy” from her diet. According to an actor acquaintance, she is a “wealthy white woman with an eating condition turned into a branding opportunity.”
It makes no difference whether her current Goop Netflix series demonstrates how out of touch she is with others. She went to a Michelin-starred restaurant in London and made fun of the chef, stating, “I can’t eat this sh*t.” “How about we go up to my suite and order room service?” She’d most likely consume “Moondust” and seaweed.
3 Kiefer Sutherland

We appreciated Kiefer Sutherland’s performance as Jack Bauer, but he has flaws. Other stars loathed working with him since he had a DUI and a history of drunken misbehavior. Sutherland was rude, according to Freddie Prinze, Jr., and he “hated every second” of working with him.
Kiefer’s filming was really amateurish. “That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face, and I believe everyone who’s worked with him has said that,” Freddie adds. It also made Freddie want to leave thereafter!
4 Jesse James

Jesse James is rumored to have mistreated women during his life. In 2010, it was revealed that he had cheated on Sandra Bullock with various partners while the couple was attempting to adopt a child together. An photograph of James performing a Nazi salute has surfaced.
In June 2010, he and Bullock divorced. Kat Von D, one of James’ wives who had an affair with him, subsequently became engaged to him but left the engagement because he was unfaithful throughout their relationship.
5 Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon: American Idol? Obviously not! Some say she’s arrogant, which came to light after she and her husband were pulled over for weaving in and out of lanes. When the police came, she asked, “Do you know what my name is?” You’re about to find out who I am.” She was charged with disorderly conduct shortly after.
According to a Star Magazine insider, “Reese is far from sweet.” Because the staff is frightened of rubbing her the wrong way, they lean back to appease her! She will never take off her sunglasses since she does not want to make eye contact with anyone.
6 Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl rose to prominence in both television and film in a relatively short period of time. Her fame, however, swiftly put an end to her career. Heigl is well-known for criticizing her business efforts and disparaging other celebrities.
She previously turned down an Emmy nomination because she believed the show’s writers (Grey’s Anatomy) deserved more recognition. Heigl also blamed Knocked Up for her dislike of women. And in 2010, she begged for $3 million to feature in Valentine’s Day, despite the fact that it was an ensemble production and she wouldn’t be on set for long.
7 Edward Norton

Edward Norton’s celebrity is obnoxious. According to sources, this is why Marvel opted to replace him as The Hulk in The Avengers. According to HitFlix.com, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige stated that Norton was not a “team player” and that the company was “seeking for an actor prepared to work side by side with a star-studded cast.”
He also claimed to have written Frida’s film and refused to give credit to those who authored it in the Writer’s Guild. That is referred to as plagiarism.
8 Christian Bale

Christian Bale has been in the spotlight several times for his high-maintenance outbursts on set. Prior to the premiere of Terminator: Redemption, Bale’s audio freakouts were more popular than the film.
Bale can be seen forcefully attacking photographer Shane Hurlbut in the video as Hurlbut attempts to apologize for spoiling a shoot. Bale is well-known for manipulating others to get what he wants. That’s why there was no official Robin in the Batman trilogy.
9 Tommy Jones

Tommy Lee Jones is grouchy, not just unpleasant. It is unusual to see him signing autographs or conversing with the media. Although that’s all well and good, most journalists aren’t interested in a second film-promotion interview with him because he’s been known to cut them off and walk out. Indeed, he reportedly made a reporter cry during an interview with GQ magazine by practically shattering full walnuts with his bare fists.
He also famously stated, “I despise you.” I simply don’t like you… I cannot approve of your antics on the set of Batman Forever.
10 Terrence Howard

Terrence Howard may appear to be in good health, but he has a troubled past. In 2001, he assaulted his ex-wife Lori McCommas when she confronted him.” He beat his second wife, Michelle Ghent, in 2005. In another incident, Ghent said Howard threw her about a hotel room before taking her up, bringing her to the balcony, and attempting to toss her over the balcony in 2010.
Howard’s approach goes into his work life as well. According to reports, this is why he was fired from Iron Man, and Don Cheadle was given his opportunity. Howard demanded more money and then quit when he couldn’t get it. Then, for years, he bemoaned this “injustice,” blaming Robert Downey, Jr. You recall the man on the Avengers set who pushed for equal pay for everybody.
